This very common skin condition effects 5% of individuals. It causes ‘rosy cheeks’ and red patches or small blood vessels on the face. Patients often complain of an embarrassing ’sunburnt’ look. Rosacea is made worse by sun, heat/cold, and exercise; the face gets red, and stays red. Fortunately, there is medical laser treatment for this condition, but it is very important to treat it early.
